Throggs Neck, The Bronx
Cut to order, the way Geronimo did it.
Boar’s Head cold cuts that go on the slicer when you ask for them, salads made in our own kitchen and sold by the pound, and hot Italian trays for the whole block. Same corner, same counter, since 1988.
Nothing sits pre-sliced
Ham, turkey, roast beef, pastrami, salami — all Boar’s Head, all cut when you order it. Thin, thick or shaved is your call, and we’ll hand you a slice to check.
Salads made here, by the pound
Pasta, tuna, eggplant & mozzarella, chicken & peppers, three bean, cole slaw. Made in the back, priced by the pound, usually gone by the afternoon.
Italian, the way this block eats
Chicken parm, eggplant parm, sausage and peppers, and party heroes built to feed a room. Call it in the day before and it’s ready when you are.
Since 1988
The block never stopped calling it Geronimo’s
Anthony DiGirolamo — Geronimo to everyone on Philip Avenue — opened this deli in 1988 and ran it for nearly thirty years. He’s gone, the sign came down for a while, and people kept giving directions by it anyway. So we put it back up.
